Book Summary
Confessions of a Resilient Entrepreneur
Confessions plays out in two parts. The first begins with the author’s childhood in Canada and the inspirational role model she meets after a youthful accident. It travels with her to and from Israel immediately after the 6-Day War, and through her ordeal with Hodgkin’s disease, which destroys her first marriage. It traces her business-acumen development as its gained through a series of companies in which she worked with – and without – a series of husbands: manufacturing, architecture, office management, importing, infomercials, and disaster call centers. Finally, it follows the author to discovering who and what she is, and exactly what she has to offer to established and aspiring business leaders.
Section II of Confessions of a (Recovering) Serial Entrepreneur provides the reader with a sampling of the practical direction the author affords her coaching clients. Through guided reflections, readers examine various aspects of their lives, such as whether they actually demonstrate their values, what kind of tradeoffs they’re prepared to make to “have it all,” the impact of their families on their work and their work on their families, and the difficulty leaders have with asking for help.

CPA Firms - Act Now:
Prepare for the Upturn by Developing your People
This E-Book has been written for Accounting Firms and is the aggregate of several Special Reports. Many firms are asking themselves what to do in this tough economy as they lay off employees. How do they rebuild after the recession and most importantly, how do they retain their “A” players? Replacing top performers can be very costly after they are wooed away.
What prompted the writing of these reports was the passion for helping firms reach clarity about their objectives, have exceptional communication between their constituents and their clients, and to maximize on the firm’s productivity, profitability and results.
As a catalyst for change, trusted advisor, and leadership coach Frumi’s experience in working with CPA firms and financial services organizations has led her to believe that coaching and mentoring are vastly underutilized in these arenas although in other sectors they are regarded as a competitive advantage.
